Front End Conference

Starts this Friday, July 23rd, in St. Petersburg, FL - Front End is a single day design conference focused on content, presentation and behavior.  Front-End Conference was created for anyone interested in front-end design to spend day learning and hanging out with a bunch of like-minded peeps. The topics are intended to cover as much of the spectrum of front-end design that can be squeezed into a single day.

For speakers, Front-End are looking for people that excel in a particular aspect of front-end design. We have seven awesome speakers this year and we're adding in a few bonus events for anyone looking to "geek out" all weekend.

Social television (also social interactive television) is a general term for technology that supports communication and interaction in the context of watching television, or related to TV content.  It also includes the study of television-related social behavior. Social television systems can for example integrate voice communication, text chat, presence and context awareness, TV recommendations, ratings, or video-conferencing with the TV set. Social television is an active area of research and development. Most existing social television systems are on a conceptual stage, or exist as lab prototypes, beta or pilot versions.
